CAN Dash Display

The idea behind this project is to create a display for a formula car or any other vehicle with relevant information about the car for the driver or the engineer. This display is connected to the car's systems (datalogger, ECU, Engine and other sensors) and collects all the information to display it on the screen.

The design of the component is an enclosure that can be placed on the dashboard of the vehicle or any other area. It has a compact design with a 4.3'' or 5'' IPS screen, an RGB led strip that works as a vumeter or alert indicator, all controlled by a microcontroller. On the back it has a single binder connector for power supply and CAN communication.

The system is fully programmable by the microcontroller inside for the control of the screen and LEDs, in conjunction with the software provided by the brand of the display.
